Recover deleted files from external hard drive

Most of us are very quick in deleting a file that we feel is of no use, or is causing trouble for running of some applications on our PC. Make sure, you stop using the PC from which the data has been deleted IMMEDIATELY, to prevent any further damage to the data that is to be recovered.
Do not download or install any application, onto the PC from which data is to be recovered.
Always install the data recovery software on another healthy PC, and use this PC to recover data from the affected drive.
Never save the recovered data onto the external hard drive from which you are recovering the data, as this might result in overwriting of the data, resulting in permanent erasure of data.
